Obituary of Wanda Wilson Wanda L. Wilson, age 58, of Corning, NY died Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. Wanda was born on February 20, 1960 in Wellsville, NY to Eugene and Dolores (McLean) Mills. Wanda was a graduate of Addison Central School and married Peter Wilson in 1987.

You could always count on Wanda’s warm and welcoming smile in the Coffee Shop at Corning Wegmans where she was employed for 32 years. She loved her dogs, cats, and camping at Bucktail. Wanda enjoyed baking, cooking, playing cards, swimming, and had a green thumb.

Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and was a second mom to all. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Peter; daughter, Courtney Fisher of Painted Post; four sisters, Brenda Cornwell of Corning, Mary Jo Mills of Addison, Carlene (Wayne) Wilkie of Buffalo, and Gail (Dan) Jacobs of Chula Vista, CA; brother, Dennis Mills of Albany; several nieces and nephews; niece and best friend, Amanda Crane of Addison. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 28th from 2 – 4 PM at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First Street in Corning where funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM.

Burial will be in Addison Rural Cemetery.
