Obituary of Elizabeth Ott Elizabeth C. Ott, age 95, of Corning, NY passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at home with her family by her side. She was born in Wellsboro, PA on November 6, 1923, to Harry F. and Bertha G. (Trauffer) Coolidge. Elizabeth was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

As one of eleven children she grew up working on the family farm. She went on to work as a “Rosie the Riveter” on airplanes during World War II in California. She was a hard worker and devoted most of her life to taking care of others.

Her pride and joy was her family. Elizabeth is survived by her two children, Steven (Bessie) Ott of Krebs, OK, Carla Keegan of Corning, NY; siblings: Jean (John) Carden of Wellsboro, PA, Gary (Janet) Coolidge of Wellsboro, PA; grandchildren: Heather (Tim) Ketchum of Corning, NY, Courtney Keegan of Pittsburgh, PA, Ben (Amanda) Ott of Cement, OK, Stephanie Ott of Bunch, OK, Laura (Roberto) Valdovinos of McAlester, OK, Nicholas Ott of Hampton, VA; and 13 great grandchildren. Along with her parents she was predeceased by her Husband, Bryan Ott in March of 1996, and her son, Richard D. Ott in January of 1993.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the Disabled American Veterans. Expressions of sympathy may be offered to the family at www.
