Obituary of Robin Revell Robin A. Revell, 92, of Corning, NY, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2019 after a long illness. He was born in Alplaus, NY on July 12, 1926 to William and Maude (Norton) Revell. Robin served in the Navy, and upon discharge, received his license as a funeral director.

He was employed with Phillips Funeral Home in Corning. Robin was then employed by Corning Incorporated at Sullivan Park, where he retired as an auditorium manager with 28 years of service. Robin enjoyed many interests after retirement including: home improvement, hiking, canoeing, traveling and volunteer work.

He was a member of the United Church of Painted Post and was a frequent volunteer at the Painted Post Food Pantry. He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Rose of Roswell, Georgia, and Ellen Stone of Huntersville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Carrie Humphries of Huntersville, Laura Rose and Katherine Rose of Roswell; great-grandchildren, Ava Humphries and Aiden Humphries, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving companion, Joyce Hickey Amadon.

Robin was pre-deceased by his parents and brothers, Charles and William Revell. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s mausoleum at the convenience of the family. Robin’s family entrusted Haughey Funeral Home, Inc. with his care.
