Obituary of Paula Gullo Paula Gullo, age 71, of Painted Post, NY died Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. Paula was born on January 24, 1947 in Corning to Forrest and Doris (Mourhess) Roland, II. She was a graduate of Corning Painted Post East High School in 1965 and attended Corning Community College.

She married Samuel Gullo on June 14, 1969 in Corning. She was employed by Dresser Rand, Painted Post for 35 years. Paula was a faithful leader in the church.

Paula served as a Eucharistic Minister, Director of the Altar Guild, Delegate to Convention, Member of the Pastoral Care Team, Member of the Missions Committee, Lay Service Leader, and a Foyer Groups Coordinator. She had been a Sunday school teacher and served in many other roles at Christ Church. She was loving and generous and was a woman of great faith.

She was a role model and an inspiration and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Sam; daughter, Kara (Kevin) Dietz of Glen Arm, MD; sons, Trevor (Michelle) Gullo of Watkins Glen and Eric Gullo of Caton; sister, Susan (Donald) Levantovich of Bath; brother, Dean (Deborah) Roland of Baltimore, MD; grandson, Timmy Flanagan of San Diego, CA; sister-in-law, Barbara (Charles) Sorge of Bath; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Paula was predeceased by her brother, Forrest (Vicki) Roland III.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 6th at 5:00 PM at Christ Episcopal Church, 39 East First Street in Corning, with Father Troy Preston officiating. Reception will follow at Houghton Lounge.
