Obituary of Gary Campbell Gary L. Campbell, age 66, of Painted Post, NY passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at his home. He was born in Corning, NY on July 27, 1952, to Forest Campbell and Violet Mcintire. He married Janice Jack on October 28, 1999.

She predeceased him on September 12, 2017. In Gary’s younger years he was an accomplished athlete. He was selected as an alternate for the U.S. Olympics team in diving and swimming.

Gary worked for World Kitchen and had 32 years of service, retiring as a ware handling foreman. Gary enjoyed spending time outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was an experienced woodworker, enjoyed target shooting and was an NY Yankee’s fan.

He loved animals and had many four-legged companions throughout the years. He also had a large salt water tank full of fish he enjoyed. He is survived by his children: Catherine Campbell of Painted Post, Paul Campbell of Bradford, NY, Josh Campbell of Corning, NY, Kori Campbell of Corning, NY; step children: Andy Jack of Corning, NY, Tom Jack of Corning, Pat Jocui of Corning, Sandy Malmond of Corning; siblings: Cristal Wheeler of Campbell, Tonya Campbell of FL, Scott Campbell of Fl , Brian Campbell of Fl; grandchildren: Jennifer , Michael, Chyanne, Brittany, Ann Jessica, Sam, Daniel, Brittany, and Crystal; along with many nieces nephews and cousins.
