Obituary of Betty Burdick Betty J. Burdick, age 79 of Painted Post, NY passed away at Absolut Care of Three Rivers on Monday, January 7, 2019. She was born on January 7, 1940. She was married to Donald E. Burdick for 60 years and was predeceased by him on December 26, 2014.

She was a cook at Watson Homestead for many years. She shared her love of cooking with her family and friends; never letting anyone leave her home hungry. She is survived by her children: Martin “Steve” (Shirley), Teresa (Brian), Jolene, Harold and Penny; siblings: Frank Carey, Martha Miller; grandchildren: Jessica, Michael, Jennifer, Danielle, Joshua, Zach, Tristen, Justine, Tylor, Elizabeth, Amanda, Christopher, Brittany, Donald Jr., Cierra, Aaron, Brandon, Morgan, Erica and Ryan; 17 great-grandchildren; and countless nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Donald Burdick; two sons: Keith David Burdick, and Donald Lewis Burdick. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney St. Corning, NY on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 1:00pm, with Rev. Troy Preston presiding.
