Obituary of Kathleen Heverly Kathleen A. Heverly, age 84, of Corning, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at home. She was born on April 16, 1934, in Corning, the daughter of Claude J. and Catherine C. (Sweet) Crane. She is survived by her eight children, Norman (Chris) Heverly, Debra A. LeBaron, Susan (Ron) Jones, Linda (Tom) Dolley, Mike Heverly, Kimberly (Dane) Osburn, Patrick (Stacy) Heverly, and Joseph Heverly, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, sister, Marlene Pym, brother, James Crane, and nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was predeceased by her sister, Eileen McIntosh and her son, Steven Heverly. Kathleen graduated from St. Vincent’s Parochial School and Northside High School. She enjoyed time with her family and her beloved feline companion, Bailey.

Kathleen enjoyed reading and knitting. She gives special thanks to Tracey and Dan Beckett for always being there for her. It was Kathleen’s wish that there be no calling hours.

Memorial services will be scheduled for a later time. Burial will take place in the family plot at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Those wishing may make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at www.
