Obituary of Ginny LeGro Celia Virginia “Ginny” LeGro, age 90, of Beartown Road in Painted Post passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at home. She was born on January 6, 1928 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Harold and Mabel Sherman. She retired from Dresser Rand following 39 years of service, she tended bar at several venues including The Poster Restaurant and The Erwinna, and she sold Avon products and Tupperware .

Ginny is survived by her son, James LeGro of Painted Post, grandchildren, Aubrey and Jacob LeGro, step grandchildren, Adam Dennis and Christy Dennis Smith, great grandson, Jaydon Hoffman, step great grandchildren, Cadence and Jenna, and special niece Carol (Ken) Lloyd of Meadville, PA. Ginny was predeceased by her brothers, William and Gordon Sherman, and her sister, Martha Rogers. It was Ginny’s wish that there be no services.

Burial will take place at Chapel Knoll Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Those wishing may make donations to the Corning Senior Center, 1 Park Lane, Corning, NY 14830.
