Obituary of Jason King Jason D. King, age 40, of Lindley, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 12, 2019. He was born in Urbana, NY, on November 15, 1978, the son of Ruben (Daniel) King and Lynette (Kay) King-Nudd. Jason earned his GED in 2000.

He worked at Bradford Forest Company in Tioga, PA, for several years. He was currently employed by Corelle Brands in Corning, NY, where he had been employed for over 9 years working as a Hub Operator and later on he earned the title as a Union Representative. Jason was born a true daredevil.

He began thrill-seeking at a young age. After he mastered the bicycle, he moved onto anything with a motor, including snowmobiles, dirt bikes and four wheelers. On the opposite end, Jason found his peace while fishing or sitting in his tree stand, waiting for the perfect shot of a buck he had been tracking all year.

Jason was a genuine person that enjoyed the simple things in life. His perfect day would include a morning spent fishing, an afternoon spent with those he cared about, grilling food and shooting the breeze. The evening would involve a bonfire, cold beer, sharing stories and endless laughter.

Jason was a devoted friend who would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need, even if it was the last shirt he owned. Jason had a kind heart, a contagious smile and could make anyone laugh. He was loved by many and all of us are blessed to have known him.

Jason is survived by his admired father: Ruben King of Lindley, NY; mother: Lynette (Kay) King-Nudd of Lindley, NY; siblings: Tara King of Addison, NY, Brianna King of Campbell, NY, whom he shared an unbreakable bond with, and his cherished children: Ryan King, Brock King, Tru King and Jayden King. Family and friends are invited to call at Carpenter-Flint Funeral Home, of Addison, on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. A funeral service will immediately follow.

Burial will be at the Presho Cemetery of Lindley on January 19, 2019 at 10am. A celebration of life meal will follow at the Presho United Methodist Church on January 19, 2019 at 11am for all family and friends. Kind words or fond memories of Jason can be offered to his family at www.
