Obituary of Rose Carozzoni Rose F. Carozzoni, age 91 of Painted Post, NY, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Absolut Care of Three Rivers. Born on December 3, 1927 in Corning, NY, Rose was the daughter of the late Joseph and Albina Scianni. She married Marino J. Carozzoni in 1950 at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Corning.

He preceded her in death on January 10, 2013. In addition to her parents and husband, Rose was predeceased by her sister Mary McCarty. Rose is survived by her son Joseph Carozzoni (Teri), and her son Robert Carozzoni (Carrie), her brother Anthony Schon and family, and her sister Mary McCarty’s family.

Rose owned and operated Shear Image hair salon in Corning, NY, for 18 years. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, crafting, cooking and baking. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney St., Corning, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 1:30 pm at St. Mary’s Church, 155 State St., Corning. Burial will immediately follow in the family plot in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Corning. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rose’s name may be sent to the American Heart Association, www.

heart.org.
