Obituary of Donald Evingham Donald D. Evingham, age 67, of Campbell, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at home with his family by his side. He was born on July 29, 1951, in Hornell, the son of Leon and Jeanette (Gardner) Evingham. He married Joan Merrick on November 27, 1971 in the Town of Campbell where they have resided for 45 years.

Don worked 17 years at Pollio Dairy, Schweitzer Aircraft, had his own Pallet business, and he retired from Crowly Foods in Arkport in 2010. He was a member of the Campbell United Methodist Church, and he was active in Cub Scouts, serving as Den Leader, Webelos Leader, and Assistant Pack Leader. Don enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and he especially cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.

Don is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joan, sons, David of Cameron Mills and Eric (Monica) of Campbell, daughters, Heidi (Gary) of Corning and Ruth Ellen (David) of Addison, sisters, Beverly (Robert) Hendrickson and Darlene (Lonnie) Bruce all of Canisteo, brothers, George of Hornell and Greg (Wendy) of Howard, 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his brother, Robert and sisters, Audrey Fowler and Norma Holloman. Family and friends are invited to call at the Campbell United Methodist Church, 8516 Main Street, Campbell on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

A celebration of Don’s life will follow there at 1:00 pm. Arrangements by Phillips Funeral Home & Cremation Service 17 W. Pulteney Street, Corning.
