Wave Fox, 85, of Willey Street, Warren, passed away early Monday, July 2, 2018 at her residence. Wave was born October 13, 1932 in Clarion, PA, the daughter of the late Willis and the late Wilna (Ion) Smith. She was a 1950 graduate of Clarion High School.

Following high school, she attended Jamestown Business College. Wave worked at Interelectric for several years, and was a partner with her husband in Fox & Sons Excavating and grandsons at the Wolf Run Marina. Wave was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who always enjoyed family functions.

Wave is survived by her daughter Dixie Fox, of Clarendon, two grandsons, Dana Hennessy of Clarendon, and Robert Hennessy of Warren, a great-grandaughter Kylee Hennessy, two brothers Willis and Jack Smith, and sisters Irene Lencer, Marie Nelson, Vivian Greenawalt and Hilma Kibbey. In addition to her parents, Wave was preceded in death on August 7, 2002 by her husband Emory “Fuzzy” Fox, whom she married on January 1, 1952, in Scotch Hill, PA. Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, July 5, from 11 am until 1 pm at which time a funeral service wiil be held there, with Rev.

Jon Meyer, pastor, Scandia Covenant Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Warren County Memorial Park.
