Wayne Walter Plazinski, 71, of Espyville, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at his residence. Born March 8, 1947, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Walter (Ike) and Olga Bawkey Plazinski. He graduated from Carrick High School in Pittsburgh.

He then attended Indiana State College and earned a Certificate in Teaching. Wayne served our country in the United States Marine Corp. For many years, he was a teacher with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit at Sunrise School in Monroeville.

Wayne loved watching sports especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. Survivors include his partner for 26 ½ years, Fran Grusong; a step-daughter, Robin Casey; a step-son, Robert Casey and his wife, Sandy; 3 grandchildren, Kurk Karl, Britney and Bobby Casey; one brother, Larry Plazinski and his wife, Maureen; a sister, Darlene Coholie and her husband, Ernie; several nieces and nephews; and his two dogs “his girls” Mitizie and Lucy. He was preceded in death by his parents.

As per Wayne’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, Linesville. Please share a condolence of Wayne for the family at royalcolemanfuneralhome.com.
