Obituary for Wendell A Sweat Wendell A. Sweat, 62, of Givhans, significant other of Tina Filyaw, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Summerville Medical Center. Family and friends are invited to attend Wendell’s visitation this evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 2 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Brookhaven Fellowship Cemetery, formerly Pine Grove #2, 285 Temple Rd. , Ridgeville, SC 29472. Flowers will be accepted.

Wendell was born on October 10, 1955 in Walterboro, SC, son of the late Morris Sweat and Gladys Sweat of Givhans. He was a graduate from Summerville High School in 1973. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing.

Survivors including his significant other Tina are: one son: Corey Sweat (Christina) of Summerville; four grandchildren: Nathan, Carson, Cameron & Cayden all of Summerville; two sisters: Terri Bunton of Summerville and Sheila Yeomans (Jack) of Greenville; one brother: Randy Sweat (Rose) of Summerville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
