Wendy Lynn McAfoose, age 68 of Murrysville passed away peacefully on Friday, August 31, 2018. She was born March 13, 1950 in Brimfield, Ohio, daughter of the late George William and Helen Dougherty Chappell. Wendy retired as Manager, Community Relations & Corporate Events at PPG Industries after 38 years.

Beloved mother to Bryan (Caitlin) McAfoose, Mychal McAfoose and Lacey McAfoose; loving grandmother to three grandchildren, Aiden, Carter and Teagyn and sister of Cynthia McCleary. Wendy enjoyed more than anything spending time with family. Viewing hours 4 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville.

A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Dan Lawrence officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Friends of Westmoreland, 216 Depot Street Youngwood, Pennsylvania 15697 in Wendy’s name. www.
