Obituary for William “Bill” Burleson William “Bill” Burleson, 71, husband of Melanie Burleson, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018. A native of Frankfort, KY, he was born on February 2, 1947 to Virgie Burleson and the late John Burleson. Bill was a systems analyst for the State of Kentucky, and a veteran of the US Navy, serving during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Juniper Hill Golf Club, and a life member of VFW Post 4075. In addition of his wife and mother, Bill is survived by his brother J.C. Burleson, GA; and his grandchildren Lacy Burleson, Lawrenceburg; Jordan and Jaden Burleson, Danville. He was preceded in death by his father, as well as, his daughter Tammy Burleson, and his sister Brenda Burleson.
