He was born September 21, 1952 in Corry Pa. a son of the late William C. and Frances Ulanski Sawchyn Sr. Bill was raised and educated in Corry, Pa. and has been a lifelong resident of the Corry area.

He worked as a purchasing agent in the office of Bush Industries in Erie, Pa and then for several years at Corry Manufacturing Company until his retirement. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church ,Corry, Pa. and was an avid train enthusiast and reader.

Bill is survived by several cousins. No calling hours will be held. Family and friends may attend a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Corry, Pa.

Rev. D.G. Davis will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 203 W. Washington St., Corry, Pa.
