William Dean Anderson September 10, 1970 – March 31, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card William Dean “Will” Anderson, age 47, died on March 31, 2018 in an accident at his home in Alameda. Will was born to James and Barbara (Körner) Anderson in Anchorage, Alaska on September 10, 1970 and moved to Alameda, California in 1973. He graduated from Alameda High School, Class of 1988, and the UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business.

He was married in 1995 and divorced shortly after his father’s death in 1997. He obtained his law degree from Golden Gate University in 1999. He practiced law for many years, defending people against the abuses of corporate executives and was an animal lover throughout his life.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Anderson, and brother, Thorsten Anderson. A memorial service will be held on April 29, 2018 at 12:30 pm at the First Congregational Church in Alameda. In memorial, donations may be made to your local animal rescue or shelter.
