William Edward Spurlin, age 73 of Goodlettsville, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He retired from Trinity Industries after 30 years service.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Inez Spurlin; parents, Edward and Gladys Spurlin and his sister, Frances Seargent. He is survived by his daughter, Donna (Nick) Cameron; brothers,Billy Spurlin, James Spurlin,Raymond Spurlin, and Jimmy Spurlin; sisters, Linda Sullivan, Mary Nieplin and Brenda Dixon; grandchildren, Michael (Konni) Streeter, Daniel Streeter, Stephanie Cameron and Kristen Davis. Eight great-grandchildren also survive.

Mr. Spurlin’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until his Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m. at Austin and Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville. Interment services will be on Thursday, March 14. His family has entrusted services to Austin and Bell Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Hendersonville, 615-822-4442.
