John Mueller, age 68, of Ashland City, Tennessee, died Wednesday, May 22nd, 2019 at the Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Funeral services will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View, Saturday, May 25th, at 4:00PM with Bro. Don Dungan officiating.

Burial will follow in Good Springs Cemetery with T.J. Lee, Patrick Lee, J.J. Anders, Cody Fuller, Ty Goff, Ray Fuller, Joseph Carr, and Parker Byrd serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday, May 25th from 1:00PM until the hour of service at 4:00PM. Mr. Mueller was born on August 2, 1950 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late John Geyser and Margaret Mueller.

He was instrumental in the creation of the Pleasant View Veterans Memorial Park. He was a retired U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam and Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm). John was a member of Good Springs Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Crystal Searcy. He is survived by his wife, Judy Anders Mueller; son, Jamie (Jackie) Anders; daughters, Judy Lynn (“Butch”) Walkup, Lou (Dennis) Goff, Brandi (Charles) Fuller; grandchildren, T.J. (Chelsea) Lee, Patrick Lee, J.J. Anders, Si’gee (Jamie) Carr, Christine Anders (Michael Roberts), Parker Byrd, Hunter (Emily) Byrd, Cody (Delainey) Fuller, Elizabeth Fuller, Ray Fuller, Ty Goff (Stephanie Kocak); and great grandchildren, Kendall, Maddie, Joseph, Crystal, Carmella, Aydyn, Jace, Elijah, Jackson, Gemma, Easton, James, and Brynlee.
