Willard “Will” Perdue, age 76, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Sunday, May 26th, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View, Thursday, May 30th, at 1:00PM with Bro. Jon Forrest officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Department. His remains will be cremated following the funeral service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday, May 29th from 4-8:00PM and again on Thursday from 11:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.

Mr. Perdue was born on January 8, 1943 in Portland, Tennessee to the late Maynard L. and Mary Elizabeth Faulin Perdue. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Vietnam War in MedEvac operations. He was a Sgt.

in the Army National Guard and served for 44 years in law enforcement. Sgt. Perdue served as the D.A.R.E.

Officer for Cheatham County for 10 years prior to his retirement. He was a Christian. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Hunter; son, Wendell Perdue; and granddaughter, Stephanie Perdue.

He is survived by his wife Debbie Perdue; children, Crystal Carrol (Randy Lane), Shina (Michael) Hart, Derek (Jordan) Osborne, Justin Osborne, Kevin (Angela) Carroll; brother, Wendell Perdue; grandchildren, Tiffanie, Samantha, Ashley, Cailey, Cameron, Ariel, Justis, Alayna, Jensen, Tucker, Addison, Brianna, and Rickey (Krista); and seven great-grandchildren.
