William Franklin Stewart, 77, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born April 6, 1941 in Vinton, Ohio to the late William Albert Stewart and Sarah Jane Johnson Stewart. Mr. Stewart was a retired carpenter and served in both the Army and Navy during Vietnam.

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Craig Stephen Pierce; three brothers, John Stewart, Jerry Stewart, and Jimmy Stewart; and five sisters, Margaret Palmer, Nancy Curnutte, Garnet Nebbergall, Dottie Stewart, and Lilly Stewart. Mr. Stewart leaves behind to treasure his memory seven daughters, Kimberly Wilkerson, April Carter, Billie Brown, Candice McKinney, Ginger Stewart, Regina Hoffman, and Shirley Michelle Tubbs; one son, Jon Thomas Thieme; twenty grandchildren, Anthony “Tony” Kothe, Algina Edwards, Melissa Bartlett, Christopher Votipka, Garrett Stewart, Courtney Stokes, Samantha Hudspeth, Kalob Stewart, Matthew Wilkerson, Hayden Stewart, Kerstyn Lacy, Kaitlyn Wilkerson, Automn Stewart, Jesse Stewart, Claudia Arias, Lauren Stewart, Jon Thieme II, Noah McKinney, Isabella Stewart, Camila Stewart, Joon Arias, Christopher Carter, Henry Stewart, Gloria Wilkerson; and eighteen great-grandchildren, Elis Hudspeth, Brendan Hudspeth, Rosaleigha Bartlett, Nellie Wren Bartlett, Paisley Kirby, William Braddock Rise, Killian Rise, Zander Stokes, Maxton Stokes, Conner Kothe, Brooklyn Kothe, Jayden Edwards, Leeona Edwards, Austin Carter, Serenity Votipka, Trinity Votipka, Eden Votipka, and Harmony Votipka; and three brothers, Raymond Stewart, Jack Stewart, and Robert Stewart. Friends may visit with Mr. Stewart’s family from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 30, 2018 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.
