A Celebration of Life Service for William Hoyt “Doc” Knight, age 65 will be held for family and friends at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the family residence at 4147 Highway 19 South, Glenwood, GA 30428. Rev. Jerry Sharpe and Rev.

Bill Crooms will officiate. Mr. Knight was born November 14, 1952 in Waynesboro, Georgia. He was the son of the late Otis Bennie Knight, Jr. and Alice Josephine Goodson Knight.

He served in the Georgia National Guard. He was a member of White Springs… Read More » Baptist Church. He was a partner with FOG Free Technology.

Mr. Knight passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Knight is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Gilder of Glenwood, 2 sons, Tanner (Deborah) Knight of Vidalia, and Perry Williamson of Dublin, a daughter, Lisa Logue of Atlanta, 3 sisters, Cindy (Chuck) White of Waynesboro, Beth (Tommy) Bryan of Waynesboro, and Diane (Ken) Huff of Waynesboro, and 4 grandchildren, Kyle Knight, Logan Knight, Colson Logue, and Parker Logue. Uncle Doc is survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the family residence at 4147 Highway 19 South, Glenwood, GA 30428. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
