William J. Orosz, 89, of New Kensington, died Sunday, June 3, 2018 in Amber Woods in Cheswick. He was born in Philipsburg, PA, son of the late Joseph and Anna (Knechtle) Orosz. William retired from Allegheny Ludlum Steel.

He enjoyed hunting. He was the husband of the late Jerie for 62 years. Besides his wife and his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Orosz; brother, Joseph Orosz and sister, Johanna Gezo.

William was the dear father of Mary Ann Orosz of Austin, TX; William J. (Lisa) Orosz of Harrisburg; Cathleen (Jay) Henry of Providence, RI; loving grandmother of Rachel (Jeff) Paten; Alex Henry; Sam (Katie) Henry; and Bill Orosz. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and from 6 until time of service at 8 p.m. Thursday in the FRANK F. GIGLER FUNERAL HOME, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell, PA 15068. Private burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell.
