William Joshua “Billy” Weigle, 35, of Trout Run, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at his home. Surviving is his high school sweetheart and wife of 13 years, Virginia H. “Ginny” (Breining) Weigle. Born February 28, 1983, in Williamsport, he was a son of William M. and Sharon A. (Michaels) Weigle, of Linden.

Billy was a 2001 graduate of Williamsport Area High School and a 2006 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. Billy was employed by the family owned business, Weigle Trucking Company, and he and his wife were owners of the Christian Light Bookstore. Billy loved Jesus and was an active member of Northway Community Church where he loved playing the drums.

Billy also loved loud cars, driving fast, and was a member of the Corvette car club. He enjoyed sports and was an avid New York Mets, New York Rangers, New England Patriots, and San Francisco 49ers fan. He was also a Penn State Football fan, a member of the PSU Alumni Association, and a season ticket holder.

Most of all Billy was a loving husband and beloved father who cherished spending time with his two sons. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his two sons who he loved very much, Kolin W. and Colton S. Weigle, two sisters, Shelly Budinger (Lance), of Lock Haven and Pam Tabatabai (Carmen Ferrara), of Woolrich, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

A funeral service to honor the life of Billy will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, September 29 at Northway Community Church, 1680 4 Mile Drive, Williamsport. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy. The family will receive friends from 6 -8 p.m. Friday at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street, Williamsport.

The family has requested that anyone attending the services either wear blue and white in honor of his love for Penn State football or dress casual. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Billy’s name to the worship team to help purchase a new drum set at Northway Community Church 1680 Four Mile Drive, Williamsport, PA 17701. The family would like anyone that is struggling with depression to seek help immediately by calling the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255.
