William L. Bacon, 84, of Conneautville, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Rolling Fields. Born March 19, 1934, in Titusville, he was the son of the late Leo Bacon and Mable (Clark) McCray. He married Barbara Kneubehl on May 6, 1961; she preceded him in death, one day before his passing, on April 30, 2018.

He was of the Protestant faith. Bill served our country in the United States Army. After 33 years, he retired as a structural fitter and welder from Seco/Warwick in Meadville.

Bill enjoyed hunting, farming and loved horses. Survivors include two sons, Jerry Bacon and his wife, Michelle, of Conneautville and Randy Humes of North Carolina; a daughter, Brenda Miller and her companion, Shawn Boyce, of Conneautville; two grandchildren, Christine Miller and Kaitlyn Bacon; two great-grandchildren, Vanesia Nobles and Matthew’s son, Colden Watson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; stepfather, Cleon (Butch) McCray; grandson, Matthew Miller; sister, Beatrice Cady.

Calling hours will be Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at ROYAL-COLEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 6028 U.S. HIGHWAY 6, LINESVILLE with a funeral service will follow the calling at 2 p.m. with Pastor Philip Torre of the First Assembly of God Church in Meadville officiating. Burial will be in Linesville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.
