Obituary for William S. “Bill” Harmon William S. “Bill” Harmon, 93 formerly of Lewistown, passed away at 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 14, 2018 at Valley View retirement Community. Born November 8, 1925 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late William H. Harmon and Lulu (Troup) Harmon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve (Smith) Harmon in 1972; his son-in-law, Stephen Hayes and two sisters, Marjorie Druckenmiller and Betty Baker.

Bill is survived by his daughters, Debra K. Hayes of Lewistown and Denise A. Bubb and husband William of Lewistown; grandchildren, Tyler Bubb, Nikki Druckenmiler, Jeffrey Hayes; and his great grandchildren, Ivy Druckenmiller, Ella Druckenmiller and Emma Hayes. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had been employed at the American Viscose Corporation, Avtex Fibers and lastly, he was the plant manager for Gilford Mills.

Bill was a member of the Calvary Bible Church. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Barr Funeral Home and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown with Pastor Howard Houtz officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.

There will be a time of visitation with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. The family will provide all funeral flowers and respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Calvary Bible Church, 100 Calvary Lane, Lewistown, PA 17044.
