Obituary for Wilma Jean Emery Ina Wilma Jean Emery, 90, of Marion, passed away at 1:45 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2018 at Parkway Nursing and Rehabilitation in Marion. Wilma Jean was born December 9, 1927 in Marion to Monroe and Bessie (Freels) Kenworthy. She married William Glen Emery.

He preceded her in death. Wilma Jean was retired, having been employed by Allen Industries in Herrin. She also owned and operated her own ceramic shop in Marion for several years.

She attended Union Gospel Mission Church in Herrin. Jean loved making crafts. Wilma Jean is survived by her sons, Jerry (Charlotte) Potts of Herrin along with Tawnie Renfro, Mickey (Elizabeth) Emery of Marion and Kevin (Ginger) Emery of Corsicana, TX; eight grandchildren, Anthony (Melanie) Emery, Rachelle (Ryan) Thomas, Joseph (April) Emery, Nick Emery, Maranda Emery, Devon Emery, Shawn (Leilei) Emery and Laura (Derek) Loggains; several great-grandchildren.

Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Emery; great-grandson, Aaron Emery and a sister, Jeraldine Shorts. Celebration of life service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 21, 2018 in Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City with Rev.

Hans Walters officiating. Inurnment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
