Obituary for Wladyslaw Gadek Wladyslaw Gadek, 82, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Abraham House. Wladyslaw was born on April 22, 1936 in Poland, the son of Jan and Zofia (Sambor) Gadek. He married Danuta Sluszniak Gadek in Whitesboro.

Wladyslaw was employed with Utica Converters until his retirement. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Surviving besides his wife, Danuta are four stepchildren, Grace (John) Johnson, Florida, Mark (Renata) Gadek, Marcy, Andrzej Gadek, Utica and Kathy Rameau, Florida; three sisters, Tekla, Victoria and Maria; brother, Michal and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Jozef and Fraciszek. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Monday, June 4, at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The family will receive guests following Mass.

Inurnment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Yorkville. Remembrances in Wladyslaw’s name may be made to Abraham House. Envelopes will be available at the Mass.
