SNEAD—Mrs. Sandra “Yvonne” Snead, age 79 of Fleming Island, FL passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Yvonne was born in Duval County, FL on September 6, 1939, the daughter of Jutson Daughtery and Ruth Faircloth Daughtery. She was an active member at First Coast Baptist Church.

Known affectionately as Granny Bon Bon, she is remembered as a true Diva who dedicated herself to the love and care she gave in raising her family. Yvonne will be deeply missed by all. She was preceded in death by her sister, Laverne Geiger, grand daughter, Sarah Snead, and brother-in-law Ken Cannon.

She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 61 years, Wayne Snead, her children Brenda (Steve) Bridges, Bart (Maria) Snead, Douglas (Sara) Snead, her sisters Delores (Bill) Ackerman, Kathy Plaster, Linda Brake, Edwina Cannon; also 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services in celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 2, 2019 at First Coast Baptist Church, 7587 Blanding Blvd. , Jacksonville, FL with Pastor Robert Riley officiating.

Family members and friends will gather from 10:00 AM until the hour of service on Saturday morning at the church. Yvonne will be laid to rest in the Garden of the Last Supper at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Cemetery, all are invited to reconvene for the graveside committal service at the cemetery located at 111 Blanding Blvd. , Orange Park, FL.
