Obituary for Zelma I. Jensen Zelma I. Jensen, 91, of Central City, died on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Litzenberg Memorial Long Term Care in Central City. Memorial services will be on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Solt-Wagner Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Kevin McReynolds officiating.

Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Mosaic in Grand Island, and condolences may be sent to the family at www. soltwagnerfuneral.com.

Zelma was born on September 16, 1927 to John and Katie (Traudt) Cranstone in Stockham. She grew up in Stockham and graduated from Stockham Public Schools in 1944. Zelma was united in marriage to Raymond Jensen in Clay Center, Nebraska on November 29, 1944.

During their life together the couple made their home in Stockham, Hampton and Hordville. Zelma was a volunteer at Central Community Services and enjoyed spending her time sewing and gardening. Her greatest love was getting to spend time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Ronald (Pat) Jensen of Grand Island, and Connie (Dave) Person of Polk; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond; her siblings, Marion Schmidt, Lawrence Cranston, Harlan Cranston, and Alvie Cranstone and one grandson, Mike Person.
