Zoelle Leaire Blade age 4, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Zoelle was born on December 26, 2013, in Atlanta, GA to parents Derrick Jermaine Blade and Tricia-Gaye Blade. She was the most resilient child.

Every person in her presence felt her fortitude and steadfast character. Some of her favorite activities were playing exciting games with miniature cartoon characters, acting out skits, and fun nature walks. As well as sitting eagerly on her Father’s lap in his music room and playing his drums; hearing all the glorious sounds of music.

Listening passionately to the adventurous stories her Mother would tell her about the vibrant world all around. She would fill with uncontrollable giggling and glee while riding in her purple remote-control Porsche while her Mother and Father chased after her. Learning energized Zoelle.

She excelled well beyond her years in reading and math. Her strength and determination will be an eternal inspiration to not only those that knew and loved her immensely but to those that will be introduced to her legacy. Zoelle is survived by her parents, Derrick and Tricia; her paternal grandparent, Norma Blade; her maternal grandparents, Oniel and Valerie Rochester and Evol Brown; her aunts and uncles, Brittainy Rochester, Valon Rochester, Wenwoy Brown; her cousins, Zariah Wilkerson, RJ Brown, Brianna Brown; her nurse, Ophelia Marks and many second cousins, great uncles and aunts.

Funeral services will take place at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home in Decatur, GA on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at 1:00PM.
