OBITUARY Zygmont “Ziggy” Jankowski April 1, 1923 – July 10, 2018 Zygmont Leon Jankowski, age 95, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Born in Bellville, Texas, he was a loving father and grandfather who had retired from Sears after over 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Clara Jankowski; granddaughter, Shari Thomas; 10 siblings; and daughter-in-law, Carla Jankowski.

Survived by children, Leon Jankowski, Mary Beard, Lynda Thomas and husband Tom, and Rosie Beniretto; grandchildren, Lisa Purdum and husband Jason, Rebecca Jankowski, Charlie Jankowski, Rachel Allen, Tracy Thomas, and Sandi Aitken; 5 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; brother, Joseph Jankowski; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2018 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic Church, 10135 West Rd.

, Houston, Texas 77064. Rite of Committal will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Adair, Mitchell Adair, Thomas Aitken, Charles Jankowski, Jason Purdum and Rebecca Jankowski.
