Obituary for Adalia P. Gossard Adalia Gossard, 99, of Wapakoneta died 2:40 a.m., Wed. June 27, 2018, at The Gardens, Wapakoneta. She was born in Fryburg, OH, on May 11, 1919, the daughter of William & Theresa (Steinke) Ruppert, who preceded her in death.

On May 11, 1946, she married Brooks Gossard, and he preceded her in death on Set. 14, 1970. Survivors include numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Marietta Kinstle, Luella Ballweg Baeumel, Wilma Vermillion, Arvil, Eamer, Cletus, & Leroy Ruppert. Adalia was a homemaker and farm wife. She was the oldest living member of St. John Catholic Church, Fyrburg.

Her other memberships included the the Ladies Sodality of St. John, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #691, Auxiliary, and the Wapakoneta Senior Citizens. Adalia was an avid quilter and enjoyed crocheting. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Sat.

June 30, 2018, at the St. John Catholic Church, Fryburg. Burial is to follow in the Fairmount Cemetery, near Uniopolis, OH. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m.-10:00 a.m., Sat.
