Obituary for Richard A. Luma Carlson Richard A. (Luma) Carlson, 65, of Wapakoneta, died 7:25 a.m., Sun. June 24, 2018, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center. He was born Oct.

7, 1952, in Lima, the son of Richard H. & Carol (Collier) Luma, who preceded him in death. His stepfather, Dale (Helen) Carlson survives in Wapakoneta. Other survivors include, daughter, Morgan Carlson, Wapakoneta, grandson, Anthony Silone, 2 stepchildren, Nicolette Clowers & William Clowers, several step grand children including, Charles Wright & Naiyana Ward, former wife, Nola Webb, stepbrother, Philip (Marquetta) Luma, Bluffton, OH, ½ brothers, Douglas Luma, Adrian, MI, David Luma, & Daniel Luma, both of Columbus Grove, mother-in-law, Betty Webb, Wapakoneta, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Clint (Emily) Webb, Belpre, OH, Christy (Harry) Gehrlich, Botkins, Judy Martin, Wapakoneta, Gina (Rick) Turner, Wapakoneta, & Duston (Natasha) Webb, Berea, KY.

Richard worked over 30 years at the Koneta Rubber Co., Wapakoneta. He proudly served his country with U.S. Navy from 1972-1974 in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of the Wapakoneta Community Worship Center.

He dearly loved Jesus and enjoyed fishing and target shooting. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Sat. June 30, 2018, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, 1102 Lincoln Ave.

(St. Rt. 501), Wapakoneta, with Pastor Jerry Hall officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of the service, Sat.

at the funeral home. Military rites will be conducted by the Wapakoneta V.F.W. Post #8445 at the funeral home following the funeral service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family or the American Cancer Society.
