Obituary for Charles E. “Ed” Lee Charles E. “Ed” Lee, 81, of Coldwater, OH, died 5:55 a.m., Mon. July 2, 2018, at Briarwood Manor, Coldwater. He was born March 2, 1937, in St. Johns, OH, the son of Virgil & Violet (Beech).

He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-mother, Ruth (Shaw) Lee. On Aug. 11, 1959, he married Marilyn J. Funk, and he preceded him in death on Feb.

13, 2017. Survivors include, a daughter. Pamela J Lee Ganser & Kenneth Kettleware, Coldwater, OH, 2 grandchildren, Courtney J. (Alfredo) Sanchez, & Charles D. (fiancée- Jessica Hall) Ganser, 4 great grandchildren, Joseph Taylor, Piper Ganser, William Sanchez, & Aaliyah Ganser, a brother, Tom (Bev) Lee, Wapakoneta, a brother-in-law, Jerry Griffo, Wapakoneta, 5 sisters-in-law, Carolyn (Ron) Knepper, Delores Bradford, June Johnson, Jane Funk & Susa (Don) Bullock, numerous nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah “Debbie” Griffo, and a brother-in-law, Glenn Funk. Ed worked as a journeyman carpenter and retired from General Dynamics in 1994. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Wapakoneta, and the Carpenters Local Union #2075, Lima.

He enjoyed whittling, cabinet making, carpentry, fishing & camping. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Mon. July 9, 2018, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, 1102 Lincoln Ave.

, (St. Rt. 501) Wapakoneta, with Pastor Becky Sunday officiating. The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m., Sun.
