Obituary for Gary James Wells Gary J. Wells, 61, of Wapakoneta, OH, passed away 4:15 p.m., Wed. Sept. 19, 2018, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born Nov. 25, 1956, in St. Marys, OH, the son of James L. & Wilma J. (Barrett) Wells. His parents survive in Spencerville, OH.

On April 7, 1979, he married Sarah S. Cunningham, and she survives. Other survivors include, 2 children, Stephanie Lynn (Nathan) Wilgus, Wapakoneta, OH, James Alan (Chelsea) Wells, Columbus Grove, OH, 4 grandchildren, Aiden, Preston, Dylan, & Arden Wilgus, a brother, Glen Alan Wells, Spencerville, OH. A life time farmer, Gary also worked as a quality engineer with General Dynamics, Lima.

He was a 1975 graduate of Spencerville High School, and a graduate of Rhodes State College, Lima. Gary was a member of the Only Believe Ministries, Botkins, OH. His other memberships included the NRA and the Farm Bureau.

He loved farming and was very talented doing electrical work, and fixing just about anything. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Mon. Sept.

24, 2018, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, 1102 Lincoln Ave. (St. Rt. 501) Wapakoneta, OH, with Pastor Ed Ingram officiating.

Burial is to follow in the Buckland Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-6 p.m., Sun. Sept.

23, and I hr. prior to the service, Mon. at the funeral home.
