Obituary for Michael Stephen Crawford Michael Stephen Crawford, 35, of Wapakoneta, passed away in an accident on June 5, 2018, at approximately 5 p.m. He was on the way to visit his father in the hospital. He was born March 24, 1983, in Lima, OH, the son of Douglas & Patricia Crawford, of Wapakoneta. Other survivors include, 4 brothers, John (Lori) Crawford, William Crawford, Christopher Crawford, all of Wapakoneta, Shawn (Carla) Crawford, Shawnee, OH, Aunts and Uncles, Mary Ann & Bill Eliott, Massapequa Park, NY, Becky & Rev.

Tom Graves, Leipsic, OH, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, his dog, Duke, who will live with his brother now. He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents, and an uncle, Stephen Crawford. Mike graduated from Wapakoneta High School and Apollo Career Center in 2001.

He received an Engineering degree from Rhodes State College and was currently working as an engineer at the Bundt Pan Company in Urbana, OH. When he was younger he belonged to the Boy Scouts of America and was on the Wapak Waves Swim Team, where he won many ribbons. He was an amazing woodworker who made many beautiful things and was completely remodeling his home.

He has many friends and loved to play cards and go kayaking. Mike loved camping and had hiked in the Smokey Mountains. He loved castles and dragons, and fully enjoyed his trip to Ireland.

He will be sadly missed. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wed. June 13, 2018, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt.

501, Wapakoneta, with Rev. Tom Graves officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m., Tues. at the funeral home. Memorials may de directed to the Auglaize County Humane Society.
