Adeline “Del” Jerman, 88, of Mount Joy, passed away on Monday, June 04, 2018 at Juniper Village. Born in Ambridge, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Frances (Nelegra) Ziolkowski. Del was the wife of the late Philip J. Jerman who passed away September 23, 2005.

Del was a member of Mary Mother of the Church Parish in Mount Joy and the Council of Catholic Women. Prior to moving to Mount Joy, Del was an active member of the former St. Veronica Catholic Church in Ambridge. She volunteered at Milanof-Schock Library.

Del was a well-known baker, enjoyed gardening and playing cards. She is survived by two sons, Robert Jerman husband of Cindi of Mount Joy and Philip J. Jerman Jr., husband of Jan of Ft. Gratiot, MI.

Also surviving are five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Mary Mother of the Church, 625 Union School Road, Mount Joy 17552 on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11 A.M. with Rev. Pang S. Tcheou as Celebrant.

Family and friends will be received at the church before the Mass from 10 AM to 11 AM. Final Farewell and Commendation will be private at Sylvania Hills Memorial Gardens, Rochester, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY, 10004.
