Herrera, 71, was called to eternal life on Monday, December 31, 2018, at his home in Albuquerque, NM. Adrian was born July 21, 1947, in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Adrian is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Rita Aurora Herrera; along with three children, Raymond and wife Terry of Los Lunas, NM, Abby of Albuquerque, NM, and Dale and wife Denise of Albuquerque, NM; ten grandchildren, Mariah, Danielle and husband Branden, Destiny, Julia, Raeanne, Shania, Jonathan, Jake, Eliana and Isaiah; four great-grandchildren, Brayden, Damian, Aria and Isabel; five sisters, Pearl, Clorinda, Arlene, Frances and husband Lupe and Florence; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who loved him dearly.

Adrian was preceded in death by his two sons, Steven and James Herrera, and by his parents, Leandro and Aurora Herrera. Adrian was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 5:00 pm with a Rosary to follow at 5:30 pm at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Road NW, Albuquerque, NM, 87105.

Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church in Mora, New Mexico, on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at the Campo Santo de Guadalupita.
