ADRIENNE’s Obituary Adrienne M. McKnight, 65 years old of Salem, WI passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Friday, May 24, 2019 at Hospice Alliance Hospice House, Pleasant Prairie, WI. She was born August 11, 1953 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (nèe Geyer) Schamme before settling in Salem in 1976. On October 26, 1974, she married Douglas McKnight in Chicago, IL.

Before her retirement in 2013, Adrienne began working at Leaves of Earth, Antioch, IL, later for Beauti-Vue Products, Bristol, WI, and finally worked in customer service at American Girl, Wilmot, WI. She enjoyed reading, traveling, playing poker and bingo, cheering on the Chicago Blackhawks, Cubs, and Bears, and especially loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Doug; three children, Holly (Bill) Brundage of Paddock Lake, WI, Daniel (April) McKnight of Kenosha, WI, and Raymond (Ashley) McKnight of Bristol, WI; six grandchildren, Krystal (Christopher) Rainey, Tyler McKnight, William Brundage, Cailoun McKnight, Kyle Belt, and Brantley McKnight; two great-grandchildren, Keaton and Kyson; a daughter-of-the-heart, Albe (Kevin) Heinen of Paddock Lake, WI and her children, Abbi, Raymond, and Zak; two siblings, Chuck (Judy) Kuhn of Schaumberg, IL and Camille (Ralph) DeRaimo of Richmond, IL; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Adrienne’s Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL 60002 with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be private. For additional information, call 847-395-4000.
