Agnes Rose Johnroe (Lapan) Kawkawlin, Michigan Mrs. Johnroe passed away Saturday October 20, 2018 at Carriage House in Bay City surrounded by her family’s love. She was born Bay City on December 31, 1931 to the late Edward & Bertha (Allore) Lapan. She married Arthur Johnroe Jr. on October 8, 1949.

She loved to cook, bake and do crafts. She made the best food that people still ask for her recipes. She was a loving wife, mom, aunt and grandma.

She loved her children , grandchildren and her animals. Left to cherish her memory are her children are Arthur (Char) Johnroe, Fred Johnroe, Rose Ribble, JoAnn Burnham and Alice (Jim) Davidson all of Bay City, William (Kathy) Johnroe of Midland; grandchildren Marcie Johnroe, Jennifer (Tod) O’Connor, Shaina (Eric) Church, Rhonda, Carol, Dareen & Kenny, Brian Ribble, Ruth Langmeyer, Ashley (Todd) Emeott, Angela (Kevin) Tovey, Tim (Tammie) Kish, Gretchen Kish (Phil), Amy (Andrew0 Keanum, James (Jamye) Davidson II, Christopher (Jaimee) Davidson; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; her brother Eugene (Maddie) Lapan and a sister Margaret Cygan. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Maggi Lowry, son in law Joe Lowry, Ken Burnham and Tom Ribble, her parents and mother and father in law Arthur & Flossie Johnroe and many brothers and sisters.

Agnes had numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. The family would like to thank The Carriage House and McLaren Hospice for the great care they provided to Agnes. Mom also, had a favorite restaurant she loved going to Mussel Beach to eat and visit with the wonderful people that worked there.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 23, 2018 at 1 pm from Rivertown Funeral Chapel with Pastor Matt Place presiding with burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Family will greet family and friends on Tuesday at the chapel from 9 am until time of services.
