Rose A. Rogel Bay City, Michigan Rose A. Rogel, 95, our beloved mother passed away on November 18, 2018 at the Carriage House Nursing Home. Born in Saginaw on April 11, 1923 to the late John & Mary (Mocny) Wachowski, she was the youngest of seven children. Rose had a great sense of humor, she was a collector of “everything”.

She could create the most beautiful flower arrangements out of wildflowers and weeds. Living during the depression she became very thrifty and wasted… Read More » nothing. She’d give the shirt off her back but walk a mile to save a dime.

She married Louis M. Rogel on November 2, 1942, he preceded her on May 7, 1995. Together they had 3 children; Rosemarie Muszynski, Ronald, and Matthew. Grandchildren; Sherri Heisler, Dan Muszynski, Trisha Muszynski, Ronald Rogel, Jr. Leah Rogel, Destani Culler, Matthew Rogel Jr., Matthew and Marcus Rogel.

Step-grandchildren; Brian Culler and Melissa Brown. Rose is also survived by 1 brother; Henry Wachowski, 15 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Matthew, grandson Richard Muszynski, great-grandson Ales Muszynski, also sisters; Clara Evans, Helen Aure, Martha Thomas, Stella Reed, and Angeline Jarlock.

A memorial service will be held at Rivertown Funeral Chapel on December 14, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Darryl Babcock presiding. Friends may call from 12 pm until the time of service.
