James Michael Lucke Linwood, Michigan James age 71, loving, husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 at his home. He was born on February 6, 1947 in Bay City, Michigan to Donald & Marion (LaBrosse) Lucke. He married the former Jean Latoski on September 22, 1973 in Midland, Michigan.

Jim retired from General Motors after… Read More » 31 years of service, he was also a volunteer on the Garfield Township Fire Department for numerous years, as well as holding position as the President of the Tri Village Ball League.

After retiring he drove truck for Wolverine Fire Works and the J&J Knochel Farm. Jim enjoyed coaching ball, fishing and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife Jean of 45 years are their children Greg (Chris) Lucke, Kevin (Kristen) Lucke and Eric (Kim) Lucke, grandchildren Emma, Lauren, Kody, Keagan, Zachary, Jackson, E.J., Ben and Jenna, his mother Marion.

Brothers and sisters Dan Lucke, Sue (Lee) Wackerle, Patty Lucke, Marion (Tom) Hornacek, Ray (Sue) Lucke and Tracy (John) Albrecht and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Donald, and a sister in law Judy Lucke. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11 am from the Prince of Peace Parish-St Anne’s Campus, Linwood, Michigan with Rev.

Fr. Nicholas Coffaro presiding with cremation to follow. Friends may call at the church from 9 am until time of service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home.
