Albert “Pete” Carl Schilling, 98, Homer City, passed away Monday, February 25, 2019 while at Bethany Place Residential Care. The son of Robert E. and Emma (Janke) Schilling, he was born May 10, 1920 in Pittsburgh, PA. Pete was a 1938 graduate of Munhall High School.

He was a WWII Veteran. Pete was a member of the Church of Christ and was a current member and former Past Master of the Masons, Monroeville, Pa for over 50 years. Surviving are his children, Jeffrey Karl (Kelly) Schilling, Pacific, MO, Ronaele Bowers, Shrewsbury, VT, and Kathryn (William) Davis, Elizabeth City, NC; grandchildren, Shannon, Kerri, and Jeneane; and 7 great grandchildren.

Pete was preceded in death by his second wife, Doris; first wife, Eleanor; brothers, Robert, Lewis, and Ray; and sisters, Mary and Jane. Friends will be received on Thursday from 12 to 2p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel.

Interment in the Marion Center Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The National WWII Museum, 945 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70130.
