Alberta L. “Suzy” Williamson, 100, of Anderson, passed away on March 6, 2019 at her residence. She was born on November 8, 1918 in Selma, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson. Alberta graduated from Ball State University with her bachelor’s degree.

She retired as a Teacher at Anderson Community Schools, and tutored kids for 40 years. She was a member of Anderson 1st United Methodist Church, and loved being with her family. Alberta is survived by her loving children, Pamela Sue Case, Denny L. (Natalia) Williamson, Penny L. (John) Ward; sister, Lois Boydstun; grandchildren, Angela (Nathan) Denman, Keri (Sylvester) Wilcox, Meghan Meyer, Justin Edwards, Mark Williamson, Matthew Williamson; great-grandchildren, Jaden Wilcox, Kian Wilcox, Mia Meyer, Liam Meyer, Landon Meyer, Leighton Meyer, Kieran Meyer, Kade Meyer; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death her husband, Mark C. Williamson; mother, Lois Terrasa Jones; father, Myron Jones; brothers, Robert Jones, Eugene Jones, and Marvin Jones. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson. Services will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Anderson 1st United Methodist Church. www.
