Obituary of Aline Ward Aline Julia Ward, 89, of Salisbury, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Wicomico Nursing Home in Salisbury surrounded by her loving son Chris, his wife Terri and her long-time friend Tamar Risan. She was born January 2, 1929 in Salisbury and was the daughter of the late Oscar T. and Stella (Smith) Brown. Aline was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, with nothing giving her greater joy than being with her family and friends.

She retired from Maryland National Bank where she served as Loan Manager. Aline is survived by one son, Chris Ward and his wife Terri; grandchildren, Rachael Waiz and Ryan Ward; great grandchildren, Ethan and Eloise; a sister, Doris Wimmer and niece, Judy Warren; as well as other nieces and nephews by marriage. In addition to her parents Aline is preceded in death by her husband George R. “Bob” Ward and a son William Ward.

A funeral service officiated by Rev. Huey Sevier will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. A visitation will be held one hour prior the service.

Interment will follow the at Wicomico Memorial Park. Flowers are welcome, if a donation is preferred they can be made to the Wicomico Nursing Home 900 Booth St, Salisbury, MD 21801, in memory of Aline Ward also affectionally known as “Queeny”. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD 21804.
