Allen James McGee July 20, 1985 – January 22, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook CARENCRO ~ Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at a 1:30 p.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Allen James McGee, age 33, who passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at his residence in Carencro. Interment will be in Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery in Henderson. The Rev.

Lanny Hayes will officiate at the services. Allen was a native of Henderson, resident of Breaux Bridge for fifteen years and currently resided in Carencro. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, crawfishing, riding 4-wheelers, riding horses, and loved being on the water.

His most treasured time was with his family. Survivors include his mother, Florence Elizabeth Hebert McGee of Henderson; his companion of seventeen years, Catherine Ross of Carencro; one son, Talon Jude Ross of Carencro; one daughter, Matison Claire Ross and her companion, Dylan Breaux, of Lafayette; one brother, Jamie J. McGee of Henderson; one sister, Morgan M. McGee and her companion, Brenton Landry, of Henderson; two nieces, Breanna Elizabeth McGee and Candace McGee; and three nephews, Ashton Ellis Landry, Liam Jon Landry and Dalan McGee. He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis James McGee; and two brothers, Kary J. “Boogie” McGee and Mark J. McGee.

A rosary will be prayed at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until service time on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Ashton Landry, Brenton Landry, Jude Theriot, Shane Dauphine, Jamie McGee, and Seth Taylor.

Honorary pallbearer will be Jarbis Wilson. Melancon Funeral Home, Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel, 4117 N. University Ave. , Carencro, (337) 896-3232, is in charge of arrangements.
