Allyn Burgess December 11, 1962 – January 14, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Allyn Burgess, 56, of Panama City, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 in his home. He was born December 11, 1962 in Defuniak Springs, Florida. He worked as a chief operator for the Bay County Waste Water Treatment Plant in Southport.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Shellie Woods. He is survived by his parents, Jerry & Stella Blount; brother, Christopher Blount; brother-in-law, Brad Woods, two nephews, Tobi Blount, Dean Woods and a niece, Jenny Woods. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 3 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Building Fund of Lynn Haven United Methodist Church, 4501 Transmitter Road, Panama City, FL 32404 in memory of Allyn Burgess.
