Amanda Kay (Bush) Gidcumb, 39, of Evansville, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 in Nashville, TN due to complications of leukemia. Amanda was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church and a member of the RPC at Resurrection. She worked as a life skills teacher at Gibson Southern High School and was a Plexus Ambassador.

Surviving Amanda are her husband of 10 years, Jonathan Gidcumb; two sons, Cole and Tucker Gidcumb; her mother, Linda Bush; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Erin Gidcumb; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Josh and Ashley Gidcumb; niece and nephew, Aubree and Dyllon Gidcumb, her aunt, Carole (Dan) Douglas and cousins, Josh Douglas and Rachel Thomason. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Resurrection Catholic Church, Rev. Godfrey Mullen officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street and from 10:00 AM until service time on Wednesday at Resurrection Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Resurrection Catholic Church and School, 5301 New Harmony Road, Evansville, IN 47720 or to Chemo Buddies, 125 N. Weinbach Ave, Evansville, IN 47711.
